First Baptist Church
Dear Church Family,
As a result of much prayer and consideration First Baptist Ralls will cancel all activities until April 3rd. This is a decision that is made with the community in mind giving special consideration to the needs of the most vulnerable in our society. We do not close out of fear or a lack of hope. We temporarily surrender our right to gather out of the love of our neighbor.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the Christ followers of FBC Ralls to love and serve others. We will not be able to meet for some time but that does not mean that our church is non-operational. The doors of the building might be closed but we must be more active than ever. Every member of Ralls will be presented with new ways to love and serve the community in Christ’s name. Share the hope of Jesus in the upcoming moments.
We will be preparing pre-recorded Bible study and music that can be used to have a time of family worship. This unique situation provides a time for us to encourage families to come together in their home for discipleship. We will be collecting various resources that will be available from our website and Facebook page.
While we are not gathering in the building, we will do everything we can to limit expenses. However, most of our operation cost will continue. Please consider online donations through our website, fbcralls.com, or text giving at 806-553-6608. Other giving can be dropped off in the office during our normal business hours or mailed to PO Box 667 Ralls Texas 79357.
This is a time to let the light of Jesus shine brighter in the community of Ralls. Live a life of worship and walk in your faith. Lesley and I are praying for you.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
